I love writers. I love you. The forge is hot, but I won't let you get burned. I will show you how to embrace the sparks, shape your story, and shout "The End" in a glorious victory cry. Let's slay some demons together!

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is there a 6-month minimum enrollment commitment?

We require a 6-month term to protect the integrity and focus of our circle. This commitment ensures:

1.
Community Integrity and Consistency: We are committed to fostering a highly stable and reliable supportive environment. The 6-month minimum eliminates the "revolving door" of casual members, ensuring you are always surrounded by serious, dedicated writers who are invested in seeing you (and themselves) succeed.

2. Serious Investment in Craft: Requiring this commitment acts as a filter. When you invest financially for 6 months, you are more likely to take your craft goals seriously, ensuring every member is present, engaged, and focused on the work.

3.
Resource Protection: This minimum period protects the significant value of the resources, guides, and workshop wisdom contained in The Foundry from those who might try to "download and dump" the content. Our resources are for committed members only.

The Forge is designed to be your permanent home for professional mastery. We know writing is a lifelong commitment, and this is the place where you return to hone your craft and maintain the edge of your sword.

Can I lock in my rate forever?

Yes! Your rate is locked in for life (as long as you remain a continuous member). This means your monthly or annual rate will never increase, even as the membership grows and the price for new members rises.

When will my card be charged after the initial 6-month commitment?

Once the initial 6-month commitment is met, your membership will continue to renew monthly (or annually, depending on your choice) until you choose to cancel.

What is the cancellation policy during the 6-month minimum commitment?

The 6-month minimum is a commitment to the duration of the initial contract, which protects the integrity and stability of The Writer's Forge community.

Monthly Members: If you choose to cancel before the initial six months are complete, you will continue to be billed monthly until the full 6-month commitment is met. You retain full access during this time.

Annual Members: The annual membership is billed in full at the time of enrollment. This annual fee is non-refundable.

In short: There are no refunds or early exits during the initial 6-month (or 1-year) commitment period.

Does my membership automatically renew? How do I stop it?

Yes, your membership is set to automatically renew at the end of your commitment period (monthly or annually) for your convenience, ensuring your spot in The Writers' Forge is secured.

To stop the auto-renewal:

You must cancel the auto-renewal via your billing portal before your next scheduled payment date.

Once canceled, you will retain full access to The Writer's Forge until the last day of the period you have already paid for.

You will not be charged again on the following billing date, and access to your community and resources will cease at the end of the paid term.

What platform does The Writers' Forge use?

I use a private, owner-operated forum to host the community and its main channels. Live sessions (Q&A, sprints, events, etc.) are conducted via Zoom.

And yes, this means there are NO algorithms dictating who gets to see what!

Do you accept my genre or form of writing?

Yes, if you write, you are welcome!

The Writers' Forge is dedicated to supporting all forms and genres across Fiction, Memoir, and Creative Non-Fiction. Whether you are working on a novel, an essay collection, microfiction, or a self-help, the core principles I teach—accountability, honest feedback, and craft skills—apply universally.

I do not believe in censorship, so all genres and themes are welcome in our supportive, professional circle.

How does the membership relate to your Professional Services?

The Weekly Live Q&A gives you access to my professional expertise for a low monthly fee. However, The Forge is not a substitute for dedicated one-on-one time. Coaching provides deep, personalized strategy focused only on your manuscript, goals, and blind spots while Manuscript Review Services polish your prose to get it publish-ready.

The Big Benefit: All members of The Writer's Forge receive significant discounts on all of my professional services.

Founding Bonus: If you join now, you receive a Free Power Hour and Muse Minutes as part of the Founding Members' Bonus—this gives you immediate, valuable one-on-one coaching time with your Forgemaster!
