I'm a writer with over 50 years experience.

I work as a writing mentor,
a book coach, an editor, and a beta reader.

I wasn't sure what was worse.

Feeling like a failure. Or feeling like a fraud.

I was a writer who wasn't writing.

And my excuses? Life. Time. Baby. Work.

I mean, I didn't even have time to read a book,

let alone write one.

Then someone called me on my bullshit.
Dared me to make myself important again.

And I did.

I was scared.

But I joined a writing group, and I wrote. And I kept writing.

Even after I quit the group due to toxic positivity and a lack of real camaraderie.

And now, I offer you the same spark that fueled my fire.

I will call you on your bullshit. Tell you time is an excuse you can't use. Hold you accountable. Inspire your vision. Offer real constructive criticism. Be your muse.
